Flamingo (Phoenicopterus) is one of the most beautiful world’s water birds; which is famous for its bright pink feathers, stilt-like legs and S-shaped neck, its length around 90-150 CM and its speed is 37 Mile.
 

Flamingo's young born with a white feather color, both parents take care of its newborn, keep it warm & feed the chick with a kind of crop milk, produced in glands lining the whole of the upper digestive tract, when it grows up its feed on fancy food that contains beta-Carotene like shrimp, crustaceans and snails, This substance is the responsible for the transformation of its color from white to pink.

Flamingo can be found in warm, watery regions on many continents like estuaries and saline or alkaline lakes, Greater Flamingois a very social bird it likes living and feeding in groups called flocks or colonies whose population can number in the thousands; because it find safety in numbers, which helps to protect individual birds from predators.
